As indicated in our first announcement dated 28 September 2022, the Open Subscription Period for additional access capacities at Fos Tonkin LNG terminal for 2023 (“OSP Fos Tonkin 2022”) will take place on 18 October 2022.
Elengy offers for subscription an additional capacity of 2000 GWh at the Fos Tonkin LNG terminal over the calendar year 2023 (normatively 4 unloadings of a unit size of 500 GWh), with a distribution of one unloading per quarter.
Elengy and its subsidiary Fosmax LNG are committed to promoting the access to the European natural gas markets through LNG infrastructures. Fosmax LNG launched in March 2021 a call for capacity subscriptions at Fos Cavaou LNG terminal (“Open Season Fos Cavaou 2021”). The Open Season Fos Cavaou 2021 was initiated in response to a high level of market interest, and aims to make available additional primary capacity achieved through technical & regulatory debottlenecking, as well as capacity extension beyond 2030 until 2045 or more.
Following our first announcement dated 17 March 2022, the Open Subscription Period for additional access capacities at Fos Cavaou LNG terminal for 2022, 2023 and 2024 (“OSP Fos Cavaou 2022”) is now opened.
Following our first announcement dated 2 September 2021, the Open Subscription Period for additional access capacities at Fos Tonkin LNG terminal for 2022 (“OSP Fos Tonkin 2021”) is now opened.
Elengy and its subsidiary Fosmax LNG are now launching a call for capacity subscriptions at Fos Cavaou LNG terminal (“Open Season Fos Cavaou 2021”)
The Open Season Fos Cavaou 2021 is initiated in response to a high level of market interest expressed over the past few months, and aims to make available additional primary capacity achieved through technical & regulatory debottlenecking, as well as capacity extension beyond 2030.
In 2020, Elengy and its subsidiary Fosmax LNG met their contractual commitments despite the health crisis. The business continuity plans implemented at the start of containment in March 2020 ensured the protection of employees, the continuity of service of the facilities in complete safety, and provided customers with the best possible support in terms of commercial programming.
Since the beginning of October, Elengy has been able to offer its customers one hundred daily LNG tanker loading slots.
At Fos Cavaou, we have just reached the station's rated capacity of 40 trucks per day, just one year after it began commercial operations on October 16.
LNG is the cleanest of the fossil fuels. In the context of the current energy transition set by the European Commission, it represents an excellent alternative for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating global warming. This is why Elengy continues to develop its services and adapt its infrastructures to meet the ever-increasing demand for LNG, whether as fuel for maritime and heavy road transport or as an off-grid energy solution.
For the first time, the Elengy teams working at the 3 LNG terminals loaded a total of more than 1,000 LNG tanker trucks in a single month. A busy summer in activity that augurs well for next winter.
Congratulations to the teams mobilized to make this new record possible!
The call for capacity subscription currently ongoing at Montoir-de-Bretagne will enter its final binding phase in October 2019.
It is a unique opportunity to gain direct access to up to 3.5 Bcm/year of firm and existing capacity from 1 October 2021 to 31 December 2035.
We are confident that Montoir-de-Bretagne is technically and economically one of the most relevant LNG terminals to match the increasing LNG import needs in Europe.
To date, Elengy has already received a tremendous level of interest from the market.
Hence, based on first commercial discussions, Elengy has decided to update the provisional commercial schedule as follows:
This agenda is subject to approval of the French Commission for Regulation of Energy, to be specified before the start of the binding period.
