2016/06/28 - Due to the significant increase in the booked capacity, Elengy considers the construction of a new truck loading facility in Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal.
As part of the Sustainable Development Week from May 30th to June 5th, Elengy has organized several events on its sites with partner associations.
For the 1st time, a customer of the French regulated terminals used a pooling service for intra-monthly capacities.
Since January 2016, Elengy and Fosmax LNG propose a pooling service for intra-monthly capacity between the three French regulated LNG terminals: Montoir-de-Bretagne, Fos Tonkin and Fos Cavaou.
The launch of this event, organized by the FACE Loire Atlantique association – Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion – took place on April 28th at the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal.
Elengy, as member of the organization committee, will participate to the 18th Liquefied Natural Gas at Perth – Australia.
This 18th edition will focus on “Redrawing the Global Map of Gas”.
Elengy will return on its 50 years of LNG experience though technical and commercial innovations.
The selection committee of the French Sailing Federation announced the selection of Hélène Defrance, sponsored by Elengy since 2015, and her teammate Camille Lecointre at the 2016 Rio Olympics Games in the 470 sailing category. The selection follows the victory at the World Championships last February 27th where the duo won the gold medal.
Elengy will take, during the year 2017, a decision regarding the continuation of the operation of the Fos Tonkin LNG terminal, at least until 2024, according to the interest shown by the market.
From January 2016, Elengy et Fosmax LNG offer a pooling service for intra-monthly capacities in the three French regulated terminals: Montoir-de-Bretagne, Fos Cavaou and Fos Tonkin.
In full preparation of the Rio Olympic Games which start on August 5th, Hélène Defrance, sponsored by Elengy since 2015, and her teammate Camille Lecointre intensify their workouts.
Their goals: get their selection in the women's 470 crew sailing and win a gold medal at Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Elengy constantly develops its LNG truck loading facilities -launched in 2013 at Montoir-de-Bretagne and in 2014 at Fos Tonkin terminal- and adapts its stations to the growing needs of its customers. The station at the Fos Tonkin terminal can accommodate up to 22 trucks a week, and Montoir-de-Bretagne tripled its initial loading capacity from 22 to 70 truck loadings per week.
