Alongside the development of new LNG truck loading capacities, Elengy releases a new contract to enhance the scheduling flexibility and the safety.

Fos Tonkin LNG terminal now offers up to 20 LNG truck loading slots per day.

15 LNG carriers in one month / 6 LNG transshipments in three weeks 

Pioneering the LNG industry and LNG terminal operator since 1965, Elengy has reached an impressive milestone in August 2018 with the successful call of the Golar Celcius at Montoir-de-Bretagne which is the 200th different LNG carrier to berth in one of Elengy’s LNG terminals. This represents more than one third of all LNG carriers ever built.

During the first semester 2018, Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal has handled one third of the LNG cargoes produced by Yamal LNG, and seven direct transshipments have been carried out at high flowrate during this period.

In April 2018, Elengy has reached a remarkable milestone with 9500 deliveries, which represents 10% of all LNG cargoes that have been delivered worldwide since the start of the LNG industry.

Direct transshipment at Montoir-de-Bretagne of an LNG cargo originated from Yamal between the ice-class LNG carrier Christophe de Margerie and the standard LNG carrier Grace Cosmos marks the start of the long-term contract signed in June 2015 with Novatek Gas & Power.

Starting today, Fos Tonkin LNG terminal increases the capacity of its LNG truck loading facility, from 12 to 16 trucks that can be loaded each day.

 

On January 10th, Montoir-de-Bretagne has received the ice-class LNG carrier Fedor Litke for an LNG transshipment operation with the standard LNG carrier LNG Jurojin.

In order to make its LNG terminals more and more attractive, Elengy acts now as a go-between for the shippers. Any market player can now advertises downstream services complementary to our regasification offer.

To meet the growing market demand for natural gas, the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal is adapting its facilities. From now on, it offers its customers more flexibility with a capacity increased to 18 LNG trucks loading per day, compared with 12 previously. An increase in capacity made possible especially by development work on the station and optimization of the loading schedule.

Starting today, Fos Tonkin LNG terminal increases the capacity of its LNG truck loading facility, from 8 to 11 trucks that can be loaded each day.

Following large consultation of our clients and the last decision of the Regulator (CRE), the new French regulated LNG terminal access contracts have now been updated with substantial improvements.

04/07/2016 - Fos Tonkin LNG terminal double the capacity of its LNG truck loading facility, to accommodate up to 8 trucks per day from today.

2016/06/28 - Due to the significant increase in the booked capacity, Elengy considers the construction of a new truck loading facility in Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal.

For the 1st time, a customer of the French regulated terminals used a pooling service for intra-monthly capacities.
Since January 2016, Elengy and Fosmax LNG propose a pooling service for intra-monthly capacity between the three French regulated LNG terminals: Montoir-de-Bretagne, Fos Tonkin and Fos Cavaou.
