Works and maintenance works schedule

Maintenance works, renovation works, etc. carried out at LNG carrier terminals may affect the available send-out flow rate. The operator plans these works in coordination with adjoining infrastructure operators in order to minimise the effect these have on shippers, whilst meeting regulatory requirements.

The European Directive

The Operator plans such work in conjunction with operators of neighbouring facilities to offset any impact on shippers while ensuring compliance with regulations including:
  1. The points of European Directive n° 96/82/CE of 9/12/1996, known as SEVESO II
  2. French Order of 15 March 2000 on the operation of pressurised equipment
  3. procedures defining the organisation, the means and methods that the operator implements in the event of works or manipulation of equipment or an accident involving the equipment:
  • company rules and regulations (“règlement intérieur”) on health and safety, in accordance with articles  L 122- 33, L 122-34 et L 230-3 of the French Labour Code
  • an Internal Operations Plan (Plan d'Opération Interne - POI) as per article 17 of French Decree of 20 March 2000 modifying French Decree of 21 September 1997 in application of French Law n° 76-663 of 19 July 1976 on Classified Facilities for the Protection of the Environment (Installations Classées pour la Protection de l'Environnement).

Unplanned unavailabilities

Guidelines for notifying cargoes and send-out while facing a FORCE MAJEURE event or a NOTIFICATION OF OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

- New send-out rights are notified, if required, at proportion to shippers affected by the event in order to absorb queuing on the roads.
- New berthing rights are notified to shippers affected by the event in respect of notices of arrival sequence.
